My answers!
by: Thomas

1-I started Origami since I was 7 years old. My sister taught me about it.

2-I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer and complex stuff is my passion (origami, for example). This is my biggest hobby. I wanted to develop this art because it's an interesting way to create your favorites project with only paper and your hands. For example, I created the light cycle.

3-I Love it because:
a) It's a good way to give a 2nd life to old paper.
b) It develops your 3D vision ability
c)You get impressed by your own work.
If I have partners? Well, my schoolmates were interessed my my models and they asked me how to make them. For my final session project, I wrote a book with my friend on Origami. All the models are REAL origami (No glue, one piece and no scissors). The book was hand written with my drawings (If you want to see it, tell me :))

4-This art has a lot of secrets and we are never ever going to discover them all. Every day, a new model comes out because there is always something new to create (Folding a movie character or video game, origami decoration following the trend) And I think that Origami will definitely become more popular! Take for example all the origami based architecture (Epcot, Royal ontario museum), Dresses and of course, engineering (Origami telescope, nanocells) etc... As you see, origami isn't just for artists, but for everyone!

It's a pleasure to answer you! :)
Please don't pay me, you're very welcome

Questions, please
by: Anonymous

Thank you very much for answering!

My questions are:

- When you engaged in origami? Did you started in your childhood?

- You have a great site about origami, when you started it? Is is your hobby or business? When you got an idea to develop it?

- Why you love origami (2-3 main reasons)? Do you have friends/partners who also love this hobby?

- What can you say about this art? Will it become more popular in our modern days, how many people in your country are involved in this art?

Many thanks for answering! With Best Wishes...
