Rings

Origami finger rings are whimsical: they show that you care without being overly serious. Paper rings are attractive yet affordable so don't crack open your piggy bank because all you need is paper and the time to fold the perfect ring for your sweetheart. [Photo by CC Leong]

Some of the rings are made with a US dollar bill. However, you can use any piece of paper with similar dimensions.

Gold or silver foil paper gives a nice touch. Looking for something a little more causual? Try washi or chiyogami, it gives a soft touch and it comes in lots of colors and designs.

Instruction on how to fold origami rings are found scattered in many books. There is not one book that contains a collection of ring models. Your best best is to go to the origami database and search for "ring". Or, go to amazon.com and search for "origami ring". Using these two resources, it was determined that:
